US arrests rabbi for raping 7 year old child

he US police have detained a rabbi in the state of Arizona for an alleged sexual assault on a 7-year-old girl in New York ten years ago.
Rabbi Bryan Bramly, 45, was arrested on Tuesday outside his synagogue in Chandler, Arizona.
He is accused of raping the child back in 2000 when he was completing his studies to become a rabbi.
According to the US authorities, the rabbi is now in the police custody in a downtown Phoenix prison awaiting extradition to New York.

“The United States Marshals Service places a high priority on arresting persons accused of sex crimes, particularly those involving children,” US Marshal David Gonzalez said in a statement after the arrest, according to a UPI report on Wednesday.
Adam Schwartz, President and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Phoenix, issued a statement about Bramly’s detention on Wednesday which said, “This is obviously an extremely serious situation and we are very concern for all involved,” Reported ABC15.
The victim reported the alleged rape case to the authorities in August 2009.
